About Obsession Notes

I started Obsession Notes because I wanted to build a world - not just a blog.

A world where women can talk about beauty, identity, interiors, softness, and self-respect without being reduced to clichés. Where rituals aren’t punishments, pink isn’t ironic, and the things we keep close - the objects, the scents, the spaces - actually mean something.

But more than that, I wanted a space to be real. To write in a way that isn’t about selling the dream, but documenting the truth. This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s a moodboard of becoming.

My life isn’t perfect. I’m not here to perform ‘put-together’. Some weeks I’m lit up by candlelight and inspiration. Some weeks I’m just getting through it. But every post is a note, a trace of what’s helping me return to myself.

I’m not here to tell you how to live. I’m here to document what it looks like to live with more clarity, more care and more beauty - one obsession at a time.

You’re not too much. You’re not behind. You’re just becoming - and I am too.

- Kamila von Nowitzen

What to Expect

  • Obsession Notes → every other week, a numbered, cinematic essay (001, 002, etc.). These are the heart of this space: longer pieces on aesthetics, rituals, and obsessions that shape a season.

  • In between → shorter drops: lists, cultural fixations, playlists, diary fragments. Not everything will be an essay, but everything belongs here - to the archive of obsessions.
